Russey Keo’s Ngin An Market Closed

Phnom Penh: The Governor of Phnom Penh’s Russey Keo district, Mr. Chea Pisey, has ordered the closure of Ngin An Market for two weeks. The closure order is effective immediately and will run through Tuesday 27 July, after Covid-19 cases were found in the area. The closure of Ngin An Market, also known as Tumnup Market, follows yesterday’s closure of Kandal Market near Phnom Penh’s Riverside area, also after a Covid-19 case was discovered.

Elsewhere across Phnom Penh, BKK Market in Boeung Keng Kang was allowed to reopen today after a two week closure. Over 100 cases were discovered there. Olympic Market is also scheduled to reopen this week after having been closed two weeks ago.
